Dear All my partners and co-workers,

The year of 2008 is almost over with so many blessings. January 08, our family had a wonderful time in Yangon until the 5th of Jan. I think it was my last trip with my whole family to visit Yangon. Because Mia will be going to S'pore to study her Nursing Training starting from January 2009.
On the 10th of Jan 08, I and Gaye went to Chiang Mia to join Lahu Convention and I was one of the Guest Speakers. I spoke in Burmese and translated to Lahu. It was fun and meet all the leaders from Myanmar and Thailand. From 14th till 30th of Jan 08, I and my dad (Ronnie) went to UK to attend FEBC conference and it was such a nice country to see all the old building and the history of UK. It was my first trip to UK and I was blessed to be with my dad to visit there. I was privileged to meet in-laws in UK from my wife site.
High light on February 08 was, to meet parents of Joel in Nan. Joel and Ruth Ibanes have been here since 1980s and this is the 1st time that Joel's parents came and visited him. It was nice to celebrate his 80th birthday in Nan. Blessings.

Would like to say sincere thanks to donors who generously giving that much fund. And I was in Chaing Rai with Lahu Pastor's trining again for 3days. Lahu Pastor gave us the puppy and we call him Hot-dog and he is sweet and everyone loves him at home. Our Burmese Church celebrated it 18th Anniversity with many blessings and colors.
April 08, I went to Yangon for Brethren Assemblies Meeting. It was so nice to meet all of our co-workers and evangelists came to a place and worship the Lord together. I met all my old and new missionaries and evangelists from different part of Myanmar. During water festival, we at MCA, had a 3 days bible study and intensive course to our church members. We taught Shool of Workers (M 1) at the church and about 80 members attended.
May 08, Thea and Mia got their certificate of TEFL (Teaching English as Foreign Language). Both passed with good marks. And the Nargis Cyclone hit Delta area in Myanmar and I started to work many things in Yangon and Delta. Made so many trips to Yangon in May and it was honored to help these victims and people. More than 8,000poeple were fed for 2 meals in Delta. The authority was so happy that Christian are the one to come and help these victims. I made 3 in May.

Our MCA church started his Discipleship Training on the 1st of June with 50 full time students. And APMCF (Asia Pacific Myanmar Christian Fellowship) annual meeting was held in Bangkok. August 08, the MCA Mahachai did the Evangelistic Crusade on the 12th Aug. 300people came to hear the good news and more than 80 people confessed and accepted Jesus Christ as their savior. Praise the Lord. And the same time, sad news was my cousin (same age as me) gone to be with the Lord on the same day I arrived Yangon. Went ot funeral and it was not a good feeling to see him lying inside the coffine. However, he got saved at the same time I accepted Jesus Christ in Yangon. He left his wife and 2 daughters at the age of 13 and 9. 31st of August was only last day of MCA discipleship Training. 52 people finished their studies and well commitment to the Lord. I made 2 trips to Yangon also.
September 08, MCA Pattaya has evangelist crusade and 120 non-believers came to attend this. 45 people came forward and accepted Jesus Christ. What a joy to see many people came back with tears. Mr de Whally came to checked our AMG account and audited in that month. And we went together to Nan to see our development there and prayed for AMG work in Thailand. I did not go to Yangon due to more visitors and things to do in Bangkok.
October 08, New building of MCA ThoungPaPong church has been dedicated to the Lord. And new children project has been started with Refugee children in that area. Pray that God will open more doors to help these children. Before the school new term, Missionary Peter Ferry and I went to Nan to conduct 3 days bible study with our teachers and staffs. It was so nice to see the ministry growing. We drove my old car and it was fun.
November 08, Leen Stok and Greetje from our mission partner Woord en Daad, Netherland came to visit us in Chaing Mai and Nan. It was a serious meeting with them and learnt that their support will be fading out in 5 to 6 years in Thailand. What a challenge! However, God already promised me on the morning from Isa 43:13 For I am the Lord your God, who upholds you right hand, Who says to you, 'Do not fear, I will help you'. Please pray with us as we need your partnership. We had wonderful time with them in Baan Pung Pai and also at New Hope School. Both of us enjoyed fellowship and time of discussing. And I and Dorrie left for Dhaka to attend Asia Partner Seminar and Workshop for 12 days. We meet all our AMG Asia partners over there and also other W&D partners. It was so fruitful time with all of them and met so many faces. I was stranded in Dhaka for 4days extra because of closure of Bangkok air port.
December 08, Once I got to Bangkok on the 4th, I went to a place where MCA Evangelistic Crusade was held. All of my church members were praying for me that I could make it. Yes, indeed it was so nice to see so many people were there to here the good news(Gospel). 121 people accepted Jesus Christ on the 6th Dec night and some took baptism after that. God is good all the time.
I and Gaye would like to say all of you that THANK you so much for standing with us in your prayers. And special thanks to all of you who are investing in our lives by supporting our ministry financially. We praise the Lord for supplying all our needs. Please accept our sincere Thanks from our bottom of our Hearts.
